Joined Up is North Devon’s new social network

Tonight I am doing a Five Minute Download at Joined Up, North Devon’s new social network.

Founded by the dynamic Jo Rees of Salt Media, Joined Up describes itself as: Creative, forward thinking, strategic and entrepreneurial.

North Devon’s new business network has monthly events, which are informative and social. Improve your marketing and social media skills, win new business, and stay up to date with the latest business developments.

You’ll also find good music, great nibbles and wine, well known speakers and a real buzz. It’s a far cry from what people usually think of as business networking, but who said work shouldn’t be fun?

Tonight’s event is at Broomhill Art Hotel, the perfect midsummer location, and there will be wine flowing as well as Broomhill’s infamous canapés.

If you have a business in Devon I’d really recommend joining. It’s tough for all of us out there, and even if you are not a ferocious networker intent on forging strategic alliances, it’s always fun to have a drink and a chat with likeminded people.

I’m talking about building an online brand, and making the most of blogs, Facebook, twitter etc.
